Periodic Posting: Contracts

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can establish a strategy for approval for release periods in contracts?

Hi Lucas,

As Deepak said we do not have a specific strategy in FXRE for controlling the posting periods. Check the links below.

In Finance, we can control in transactions

KS02 - for blocking at Cost Center level (check out second tab - Control)

OB52 - For blocking Posting Period (maintain From and To period) on monthly.

E.g: From 1, 2011 to 1, 2011. posting possible only during first period.

OB52 blocks postings at Company Code level.

So, check with your FI Team before deciding.

Hi,

We dont have standard way to block the period in REFX as the period blocking is FI activity and if we want to post to a period which is locked by FI team the RERAPP gives an error of period locked.
