Hello,
when I try to reimport a modell I get this message:
ARFC2ModelInfo creation ''TempModelForRenameTable'' has been aborted.
Internal Error
Plug-In Name: Model Type Adaptive RFC 2
Internal Error : com.sap.cmi.modeltype.arfc2
Class : com.sap.cmi.modeltype.arfc2.wizard.rename.ARFC2PageRenameModelClass$3$1
Method : loadRenameMap()
Message : Failed to create model classes
Exception : com.sap.tc.cm.arfc2.exception.ARFC2RuntimeException: null
[Error: com.sap.ide.tools.services.ui.dialog.DialogService Thread[main,6,main]]
What I did:
I created an ARFC2 model by importing an RFC successfully. Then I changed the Interface of the RFC on the backend. After that I deleted the rfc in the model using the model wizard (NWDS). When I try to reimport the RFC now I get the error messages above.
When I try to import a new RFC everything works fine...
I suggest that some classes of the first generation haven't been deleted completely but I have no idea how to fix it.
The version is NW7.2 SP03.
Has anyone an idea?
Most of the times if we chnage the NWDS version the error goes off.
Also I would suggest you to try the same from some other PC if possible.

Hi Dennis,
First check if this model is being referenced anywhere in the project? Check the used models section, check in the controller, view to see if you are using the objects enywhere.
If it does not work try re-starting your server and try re-importing the RFC again.

Hi Poojith MV,
I didn't delete the complete model, only the changed function. I searched for the function and there is no reference left to it in the complete project.
After restarting the server I still get the same message...
I don't want to delete the whole model because there are other functions that still are in use.
I tried to create a second model but when I chose the function I still get the same error.
Dennis
