Hi PS gurus,
Please help me with the below issue.
Project 1, Created on Day 1
Material A (reservation for Network) added with 60 quantities (MRP run on Material PR Purchase Order MIGO & stock available 60)
Project 2, created day 2
Material A (reservation for Network) added with 60 quantities
With out MRP run for this project /material, through CNS0 for Project 2 can see Material A 60 (which was created for Project 1 on day 1) and deliver those 60 quantities.
I tested & found that I was able to deliver Material A 60 for Project 2.
Question:-
Is this stranded SAP process ?
How can we prevent this ?( As requirements was generated for Project 1 & that Project 1 should only delivery NOT Project 2 )
Please help & sorry for long question.
Thanks in Advance
MM
Hi,
As Abdul has mentioned, you might have used unrestricted stock in your case. Unrestricted stock is not specific for a project and can be used by any project. To avoid this try using valuated project stock.
You can refer SAP Help to understand more about valuated Project stock.

in this scenario you considered only unrestricted stock, so the behavior is standard.
please use valuated project stock.
for further details on valuated project stock please refer SAP Help.
