unable upload text file in sap unix system through cg3z tcode.

Hi All,

I uploaded a text file in application server through CG3Z tcode in an sap unix system .

But When i check the text file data in application server ,# is appended for every record which is actually not present in the text file.

Ex: Actual text is ;

abcdef

efghijk

Data in App server is ;

abcdef#

efghijk#

please provide the solution .

Which transfer format did you choose?

Make sure for text files you use ASC, not BIN.
