Fields values allow for overwritten in handheld devices

Hi,

In SAP GUI, we can overwrite the fieldu2019s values without delete the values first by turning on/off the keyboard key u201CInsertu201D of the laptop/pc.

If I want to have the same function in the mobile devices, what is the setting that we should do?

We are using Mobile Computer Handheld Terminal Motorola Symbol MC9190G

The generation style that we use when generating the templates for our service is Mobile Devices (Without HTML Tables)

Hello Sim,

The "Insert" key being able to overwrite values is a generic feature of the PC. I do not know if the mobile devices have a similar "Insert" key feature, but I really doubt it. You will normally need to delete the contents of the field first or highlight the contents before starting to type.
