Hi Guru's

we've a scenario where we've one company and 2 plants located in 2 diffrnt states, here we r working on MTO scenario, where lets say we hv 2 plants name 101 n 102.

sales order comes for FG in 101 plant it triggers the initial production n remaining production takes place in 102 and final FG get dispatch from 102 plant.

how to map this sales order whose receiving plant is 101 and delivering plant is 102 in SAP so i cud run MRP on this sales order in 102 plant so as to get dep req in 101 plant?

Kindly assist

Aman

Discuss with your MM/PP specialists to resolve the issue. When you create a sales order, you must enter the delivering plant as 102 and not 101. By this way, when MRP runs for the finished goods in plant 102, it will create dependent requirements (like STO) in plant 101 for the first sub product. To achieve this, the material master of the finished goods and intermediates need to be set with correct data in MRP views. From SD side, there is no further settings needed.
