Hallo,
Our landscape is not complicated, it consists of 3 product systems (2 abap and 1 only java system) and 3 test systems (2 abap and 1 only java system) and Solution Manager in one destination.
we upgrade Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 to 7.1 SPS3. After instalation we start Solman_setup. During step 6.1 Select SLD we choose Setup local SLD, because we have been using SLD in Solman as central SLD. Operation failed with error Message "Error in processing of HTTP request: (400) ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED".
In ICM monitor we found this warning:
[Thr 4364] *** WARNING => Connection request from (59/8643/0) to host: http, service: 80 failed (NIEHOST_UNKNOWN)
[Thr 4364] EX-T59, U8643, 001 SOLMAN_ADMIN, 172.16.1.1, 09:12:20, M0, W12, , 1/0 [icxxconn.c 2271]
We can access http://host:port/sld without problems. CIM and CR is updated too. Technical system data are ok. SLD seems to be all right.
Could you please help us solve this problem?
Thanks
If I add my SLD information and click on the button "Change DS Target" it completes the connection and I find all my agents correctly.

Same here and would also like what the resolution was, since it has been flagged as answered.

Thanks Lori,
I have a lot of other systems connecting to the Central SLD, and those work fine with the same settings i now try to add to our Solution manager solman_setup.
SMICM on the solution manager system looks fine as well with HTTP, SMTP, HTTPS and SMTP services active.
As the original poster i also see these entries with:
*** WARNING => Connection request from (38/23992/0) to host: http, service: 80 failed (NIEHOST_UNKNOWN)
but i'm not aware of that port 80 has been used before and it's also not a standard SAP hosting port, so I'm not sure what to make of this.
hi,
i´ve got the same problem. Did you solve it, if yes, could you please tell us how we have to handle it?
thanks
