Creating Contexts across two tables in different database

Hi All,

I am trying to create a context for join in IDT across two tables which reside in different database schema. One is from SAP and other is a non SAP table. Can a context be created in this scenario? I tried creating this but the query is not giving me an option to use the context. Any inputs on this is welcome.

Thanks & Regards,

Sundar

Hello,

I presume you have created a multisource data foundation and you need to create a context which relies tables from two different sources.

This should be possible, did you set the cardinalities correctly in order for the context to be detected automatically?

You can also set the context by hand, independently of the automatic detection.

Hi PPaolo, thank you for your reply. I guess I was going behind a wrong approach. I was able to achieve this by creating prompts and creating different joins based on user input for the prompt.
