MTS and MTO scenario

Hi,

My client has a scenario as mentioned below.

Let us consider a material "A" which is a finished good and is made of components 1, 2, 3, 4.

But some customer ordered the material "A" with some changes i.e. he needs with the combination of 1,2,4,5. The component 3 should be replace by 5.

So how to map this requirement in SD and how it will move to PP

Welcome to the forum. As an rule in the forum by the owner, we should always seach in forum before posting any thread.

Your problem is already discussed in the forum number of times.

for your problem you need to activate make to order process in your system e.g. charactersticks, class etc. also need activate check in material master that the material is configurable and set up transfer of requirement and ATP check.

Please search in the google or in this forum at top right hand side you will find no. of documents with menu paths and tcodes. Although i can provide you the link, but again its against the rule of this forum.
