Receiver IDoc count mismatch between SAP PI and SAP CRM systems

Hi Experts,

My scenario is File to IDoc. This is a mass data processing interface where each File size is 7-9 MB and PI is generating around 2,50,000 IDocs out of one File. Currently record Set per message is 1000 ( also used 10,000 previously) in Content Conversion, which means a single message in PI contains 1000 IDocs.

But the problem is IDoc count in PI is not matching with SAP CRM system (WE02/WE05) every time. This IDoc type is customized one, not standard. PI message monitoring is also showing successful every message.

When we processed the 1st file:

Size 7.43 MB

IDoc count in IDX5 of PI : 235254

Message in SXMB_MONI of PI: 236

IDoc count in WE02 of CRM: 68254

Please let me know why this is happening and where can I check for any failure.

Hi ,

Check the OutboundMessage status in the integration engine for the 236 messages , you will get a clue.

Also in WE02 how u r checking are you filtering with any status ?

The issue is resolved. The problem was at the CRM side with the job which was processing the IDocs.

Check in SM58 transaction, any IDOCs been stucked?

I have checked in SM58. No IDoc is stuck over there. Do we need make any configuration in PI / CRM side?
