Hey Guys
I have mentioned 5 for LEAD TIME IN DAYS and PROPOSE DELIVERY DATE ticked in VOV8 setting
In sales order the delivery date is fetching as 11.10.2011
ideally it should be 5.10.2011
My question is what are the other factor hte system taking into consideration
ie: 5.10.2011 +((6days))??
Thanks
1) Please go back to VOV8 and in your sales document type, give "lead days" = 0 (zero) and then create sales order and check the result.
Are you still getting the extra 6 days?
2) These extra days could be coming from the factory calendar assigned to the sales org and or the calendar assigned to the plant.
If there are holidays, the Req deliv. date shall include those days in its calculation.
change them to some standard and then test.
3) In your case, did you get this "Req deliv. date" before entering any material?
That means it is independent of MMR (and thus independent of MRP views).
Please reply with answers to above points.

CORRECT I GET THIS DATE BEFORE ENTERING MATERIAL

check 2 things -
1. Shipping point
make two fields blank, these fields are - Determine loading time, Determine pick/pack time
IMG>EStructure>Define>LE>.....
2. Route
make two fields blank, these fields are - Transit time, and TrLead time
IMG>LE>BFunction>Route>Define Route....
and then try, by creating a sales order
