Performance improvement for Data Manager

HI Gurus,

We use DM for powerusers and our WF is launched on Data Import.

Lately we are facing perfomance issue in which Data Manager gets very slow.

Please help.

Hi Karthik,

Data Manager performance can be improved by deleting the workflows in completed state.

SAP note 1265626 can help you in this regard.

Also judiciously reduce number of users accessing Data Manager and provide them access to portal instead.

Hi,

If Possible, You should always make sure that all batch loads are happening in MDM during off business hours i.e. no end user is working in MDM.

Also Import server/Syndication server use your MDM server for import/syndication activity so make sure that the Interval parameter in MDIS.ini/MDSS.ini configuration files are set properly.

Hi Karthik,

Please refer to SAP note 1502695.

Importing record is resource intensive way to lauch WF you can try optimizing other parameters to achieve a better performance.

SAP Note 1481058 can help you in that.
