It is my understanding that CJ9L take all actual to date into consideration regardless of the key date. For example:
- I have a NWA that starts from January 1st to December 31st, 2011 with planned activities of 1200 hours.
- Actual hours from January 1st to September 31 are 900 hours. Actual hours from October 1st to October 15 are 90 hours.
- If I run CJ9L today with the key date October 1, the program will distribute 210 hours to the rest of the period instead of 300 hours, because the 90 hours in October are also included in the actual.
Is there a way to control the actual by the key date so only actual from life to the key date is considered for the forecast? Has anybody implemented any enhancement to do this?
Thank you,
Ben
Hello ben
Note 305678 when applied to the system allows customers to use the
key date rather than the date of the last confirmation
when forecasting costs if required.
hope this helps
