How can we change settings in PS where we can only activate availibility control in the header level and not in the lower wbs elements?
Hi,
I also had a similar scenario to work on, though it is not present in the standard functionality, I created user status and deactivated AVAC controlled objects.

Can you kindly explain what purpose will activating AVAC only at top level WBS suffice? As stated in the earlier post, there is no SAP standard functionality to achieve this. You may be able to do it using user exit and BADIs available for WBS.

Hi,
I think it is not possible to activate availibility control in the header level only. availabilty control (AVAC) gets activited at project definition level then it flows to lowest level in the project structure hirearchy.
