Hello,
I have some problems with our combination of SAP GUI 7.20 PL8 and Office 2010 32bit.
When I like to edit a office 2010 document (excel and word) in my SAP all the time the documents are protected.
I can open the document but the only thing that works is to write in it.
Its not possible to save or print.
Before there worked with Office 2003 and there was no Problem.
The other thing whats missing is the "file" button of word or excel when i am using it in SAP.
Please any suggestions?
Regards
Patric
Hi, Patric!
Just wait a release of SP9 for SAPGUI 720.

Solution
When document is opened as inplace with Microsoft Office 2010 using SAP Office Integration then the Microsoft Office Button is unavailable. This causes all the options like "Save", "Save As", "Print" etc to be unavailable. If Microsoft Office button is not removed then clicking on it will result in a crash.
As a workaround, place the essential menu items in Microsoft Quick Access Toolbar. To add the essential menu items to Quick Access Toolbar, refer the attachment QAT-Saveas.RAR.

But you can't download this archive file without access to service.sap.com/notes.

Patric,
May be this isn't a problem on SAP side, so you can try to disable option on MS Office side.
