Define a new file type in DMS

helle DMS Gurus,

I'm preparing a new file type to connect DGN files with Bentley viewer with our sap DMS. I have completed the workstation application defination, and later when defining workstation application in network, I set the parameter like below

data carrier type *PC *

application DGN

application type 1

description DGN

path for sources(paht and program name) DgnPreviewHandler%AUTO%

path for sources C:\Program Files\Bentley\Dgn Reader for Windows 7\Dgn Preview Handler

But after configuration, it is not working.

Any ideas on this? Thank you.

HI,

Make the following changes nad then test again.

path for sources(paht and program name) %AUTO%

path for sources <-- keep this value blank.

What file extensions have u maintained for this new file type in DC30?
