G/L account not copied from Shopping cart template

Hi all,

We are on SRM 7.1. ECS.

We are facing an issue with the account assignment values not getting populated when a shopping cart is created by copying a PUBLIC TEMPLATE.The value for the G/L account gets defaulted in the copied shopping cart as per the customizng netries in SPRO under ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT AND PRODUCT CATEGORIES.

Please advise.

Hello,

This is the standard design.

Template function is general. The strategic purchaser creates the

template for other users and these users can assign their own accounting

data to the SC.

If the system copies the accounting data as well, the template is not

general anymore and it cannot be used with this purpose.

If you want to copy the cart thoroughly, you can use the old shopping

cart functionality instead of the template.
