Java JDK version / Netweaver 7.3

Hi, i need help, try install the version netweaver 7.3 (Java) but do not know which version to install.

Operation System: Linux 10. 64 bits

Hello,

May be SAP JVM need to be used. Or if a particular JDK version is to be used, then is it not mentioned in the installation guide ?

Please try to go through the guide once more, there must be a indicator to at least a Java note.

Please also check the PAM to see the required/supported version/level for OS, dbase, browser, etc. On the first page of the PAM (after the cover/title page), you'd see that it mentioned: Installation Unicode only - 64bit only - SAP JVM 6 only - 7.20 Kernel

Hello Eli,

The recommended Java version is SAP JAVA Server VM 1.6.0.

Since NW 7.1 SAP has the own Java version.

Please check note #1492391 for more information.

Also PAM has reference to SAP JVM 6 http://service.sap.com/pam

We have 7.3 server installed here and this is the version (SAP JAVA Server VM 1.6.0) which is running.

For NetWeaver 7.3 based installation, we require SAP JVM 6.
