ERP6 EHP5 Ides installation - Oracle & Windows 2008 x64

Hi all,

we have received the kit of DVDs for Ides ERP6 EHP5.

We have create a Windows 2008 server x64 and copied all DVDs in the local hard disk.

When we try to install ORACLE 10.2 (included in the DVD n. 51031678) we cannot find which is the correct script.

We have tried all sapserver.cmd files in the DVD but it seems that no one is correct ?

Is it possible to install Oracle 10.2 on a Windows 2008 server x64 ?

Which is the path of the launching script in the DVD ?

I was able to install Oracle 10.2 on W2008X64 but it is importan to use the sapserver script attached to SAP Note 1486772.

Hi, Andrea!

To install the Oracle 10.2.0.4 database software, use the RDBMS DVD #51036975 (ORACLE 10.2.0.4 Failsafe Server 3.4.1.5, this DVD includes the database and the Failsafe component).

P.S.: If your Windows Server is 2008 R2 - At least Oracle Patchset 10.2.0.5 required, for 2008 - at least 10.2.0.4.
