Hi Gurus,
I am new to this SAP world. Right now I am learning new things in SAP.
I have one doubt after installing NetWeaver 2004. I found two exe folder in the SAP directory.
1. usr\sap\<sid>\DVEBMGS00\exe
2. usr\sap\<sid>\sys\uc\...\exe
Can any one explain, what is the difference between this two?
Thanks in Advance.
Raj...
Its a resonable question I think... one works as a "distribution center" and the other one is the one who actually house the active kernel. When a new kernel is dropped in usr\sap\<sid>\sys\exe\<uc/nuc> a copy of it is sent to usr\sap\<sid>\DVEBMGSXX\exe and to each of the instances usr\sap\<sid>\DXX\exe directories by SAPCPE (with a exception of heterogenous environments where instances must be updated manually)
Regards
Juan
