Coding Mask errors CJ610 and CJ627

dear experts:

i have 2 questions regarding Coding Mask:

i have created the project coding mask: D-XXX-00.00.00.00.00.0

in fact i tried to make it aliitle bit longer by ading extra 4 charecters 0.00 to be this way: D-XXX-00.00.00.00.00.00.00

but the system didnt accept this and issued the error message no: CJ627 (Edit screen is "4" too long)

Hi,

You cannot create coding mask that is more than 24 characters long. Read SAP Help and find out more about this.

ok itried to add only 3 charecters, the system issued the same message but bith ( Entry is "3" too long)

however it's 24 charechter

and when i tried to use my coding mask in creating a project "with a root WBS element: D-XXX) in the project builder, the system didnt allow me to use it create WBS elements at a level deeper thatn level 7
