Hi,

How do you distinguish among three heuristics in SNP: location, network and multilevel

What functions they perform in regards to all products and all locations, also in reference to a product BOM?

I suggest you review resources about SAP SCM online at:

http://www28.sap.com/mk/get/TC_SEA75?SOURCEID=45&campaigncode=CRM-US11-SRC-PPCSUPP&source=msgsdkwus0...

There are several white papers and other resources that could help you with this question.

Hello Himanshu Shee,

The difference between Location, Network and Multilevel Heuristics are

Location : When u run location H, SNP plans for specified product at specified location only.

Network : When you run Network H, SNP plans for specified product in all the locations in an network. and here only one BOM level will be explode.

Multileve:when you run Multilevel H, SNP plans for all the products in all the locations including the lowest BOM product. It plans finished goods, semi finished goods and raw material at the locations
