Operation mapping missing in Interface determination

Hi All,

In one of scenario Operation mapping is missing in Interface determination. The message type of the sender and the receiver interface are same ..Is it possible to have a scenario with out operation mapping if the sender and the receiver message type are the same.

The only condition is Both sender and receiver interfaces should be same.

Though you have same Structure(On sending side and Receiving Side),Outbound and Inbound Service Interfaces are must

Operation mapping is not mandatory parameter while configuring Interface Determination

So if you dont have any mapping and OP then you can ignore it ..

No additional things are to be configuredd...The Interface works fine

Hi all ,

in my scenerio,

same datatypes with two segments message header segment and purchase order segment

Some Fields in the Message header segment is different so can i use the above logic that without Operational mapping

Data we are sending to the Fields whic are common in both the Data types

Hi Raj,

You can you use same message type for both sender and receiver. But, You have to create 2 separate Message Interfaces for ur scenario. Then u will get operation mapping in the Interface determination.

If you dont want to use Operation Mapping in interface determination then go for AAE concept which is introduced in SAP pi 7.1

Hi, the answer is yes it's possible, you have the option, making an interface with direct connections (only in PI 7.1).
