SAP Solution Manager 7.1:
You may have noticed a bad performance (long run time) of
Job: REFRESH MESSAGE STATUS
Program: AI_CRM_IM_UPDATE_FROM_SAP
Due to a program error too many data is read from SAP.
This causes a long runtime in your SAP Solution Manager, but also a quite high load at SAP Global Support Backbone (System OSS = O01, O02).
Solution: Implemement

The SAP Note is also included within central corrective SAP Notes, which a promoted via SOLMAN_SETUP:

1584162 - SAP Solution Manager - Basic functions 7.1 SP2
The job needs to be executed, when you want to synchronized (receive) messages from SAP and create/update them locally in your SAP Solution Manager Systems.
Consider descheduling the job, when the functionality is not required.
