availability check

Hi ,

Can anyone suggest how to activate availability check in qutotaion?

have created new schedule line category and activated availabilty check there. What else i need to do

HI,

Goto VOV6, you need to activate availability check at the schedule line category level. The standard schedule line for Qt is BN where in availability check is deactivated. You need to activate availability and transfer of requirement check there.

Further you have to set availbility check indicator at material master leve in Sales-General/Plant tab.

Then in SPRO->SD->Basic Functions->Availability Check. Do following config:

1)Define Checking Group

2)Define Material Block for other user

3)Define Checking groups default value

4)Carry out control for availability check.

5)Define procedure by requirement class

6) Define procedure for each schedule line cat
