Change weight in shipment

Hi Gurus'

I am creating a shipment with a delivery which has multiple line items. As the weight of the shipment = weight of all linbe items in the delivery. But my requirement is Io change the weight of the shipment.

Fo example, the total weight of the shipment ( with all line 4 line items of delivery) = 600 KGs

I want to change the shipment weight to 300 KGs

Appreciate your suggestions / ideas in this regard.

Hi,

as Sharan writes, you can change the weight in the delivery. The weight in the shipment is only taken from the delivery, the only place you can enter a weight is on the HU of the shipment (and I do not think that you can then simply reduce the weight).

Anyway, if you say the delivery shows 600 kgs and you want it to show only 300... you have a serious master data problem (or a weight problem

Hi,

You can change the weight while creating the delivery in

delivery header> loading tab

Please check the route determined in delivery (with weight group).

Hope this will help.

Hi,

I'm not very familiar with shipments, but if you have a rule I'd try to check if there is a copy control for that where you would hardcode it.
