Hello,
I am trying to find out how much data we are archiving in an ECC and CRM system, and am a bit confused by the different numbers.
If I go to the SARA t-code and click statistics, I was under the impression I should be using the column "DB Space Deleted" as the best representation of total data savings from archive. As a sanity check, I went to to the ADMI_STAT table in the ECC system, and noticed that the column DB_SPACE_D does not match the number reported under "DB Space deleted" in SARA Statistics. It does however, match "DB Table Space Deleted".
What is the difference between these two numbers?
Thank you.
There are four columns next to each other,
the column in deep blue ( DB Space Deleted ) is the total of the other 3 columns in light blue ( Table , Index, cluster space deleted)
if you delete a record from a table that has an index, then the entry from the index is as well removed.
