Hey Experts

I want to know if any job is running in APO DP & SNP and i can get the status of that job in SM37 but if I want to know what is the use of that job how I can find that.....

Hi,

Most DP jobs definition could be seen in /sapapo/mc8e.

In SM37, you see the job name. Then in /sapapo/mc8e, you use F4 help to find the relevant job number, and then you can check the job definition. Put the mouse pointer in the activity filed and push F2, you can see the definition of the activitly (also in /sapapo/mc8t for activities).

For SNP jobs and jobs from process chain, you'll need to check the job log to see the relevant program, as above suggested.

You can look at the job log to see the steps in the job and take the program name, get SAP help on the specific program.
