Use of 'extra' fields on APO 'product at location' master

I am using the 'extra' fields on the APO 'product at location' master, eg AT101.

How can I make these fields read only?

Any advice appreciated...

Hi

If you are ok with hiding the 'Extra' tab so that its not visbile, you can do that using master data display profiles (Transaction /SAPAPO/MNTPROF01).

I want to see the Extras tab, but have certain fields read only on the tab.

I've not tried this before for APO, but see if you can use transaction variants (T.Code: SHD0) - Refer to OSS notes 331360 and 547763.

Hi,

I don't understand why do you want to make the additional fields as read only. If so, how will you enter any value to that field and there is no purpose in adding those fields.

Do you mean to restrict the data entry in these fields only by certain users? or do you want to input the value through some macro only?

Please elaborate your requirement.
