Context tab is not available in code wizard

hi ,

I have downloaded SAP NetWeaver trial version

Details :

Release : 720 final Release

file version : 7200.1.3.1054

build : 1196830

patch level : 3

But when i click web dynpro code wizard Context tab in not coming there .

Can anyone tell me why is that happening ?

720 final release. This doesn't sound like the release level of the server, but of the SAPGUI. Changing your SAPGUI release level on your client machine will have no impact on the backend server or the functionality in Web Dynpro ABAP. What is the backend release level? If you don't have this functionality then I would suspect that you are still on a NetWeaver 7.0 based release. This feature you mention was new in NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 1.

Although this functionality is available since NetWeaver 7.01, I would recommend you go ahead and download the latest trial version available - which is 7.02. If you are going through the effort to install the trial edition, why not get the latest available.

In my first post i have mentioned the details of the release , can you check that and let me know if the context tab should come or not according to this release .

Dear Nikhil ,

Are you creating a WD from scratch ?

Have you created your context and now you can't see it on the wizard ?

Does your WD compile correctly ?

Is this a standard WD ?

If it is, what WD is this ?

Yes , i am developing WD from scratch.

Node and some attributes are there in the context Tab but when i click on code wizard it is not showing the context tab where i can Read,Set , Append.
