Solmanup PREP_GENCHECKS/NTACT_CHK No lines found in logfile matching 'PN...

Hi,

I'm in porgress of upgrading my solutionmanager system to 7.1.

In the PREP_GENCHECKS/NTACT_CHK phase (abap) I got the following error.

"Severe error(s) occured in phase PREP_GENCHECKS/NTACT_CHK!

Last error code set: No lines found in logfile matching 'PN......\.SOL'"

A trouble ticket and an archive with all relevant log files have been generated. Trouble ticket: "/usr/sap/SOL/SOLMANUP/abap/log/SAPup_troubleticket.log" Log archive: "/usr/sap/SOL/SOLMANUP/abap/log/SAPup_troubleticket_logs.sar"

Checking the logfile gives not much more info

#> more SAPup_troubleticket.log

Any one knows which logfile it is refering to?

I've checked other logfiles in SOLMANUP/abap/log but no more info.

(Hostname and sysno is replaced in the copy above!)

Hi,

Check log file NTCHK.ELG. Also, check SAP note 179334.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks!

I've already checked that note, its not for me.

NTCHK.ELG is empty, so it could be that logfile the error is refering to.

Just have to ask, this "NTCHK" it has nothing to do with NT? We're running AIX.

I've opened a OSS, SAP told me to download latest R3trans, tp and dbdb6slib.o, it didn't help.

NTCHK.LOG gives not anything

Hi,

I'm having the same problem but in a windows 2003 system.

The file NTCHK.ELG is empty and has 0 bytes.

I updated R3trans, tp and database library but no changes.

Anyone has a clue about how to resolve this ?

I found the answer to my problem here:

Wrong kernel version on /upg/newexe

Same problem for me, kernel issues.
