How can I tell whether the gateway is running?

SAP Gateway is started by the dispatcher if you have any trouble info sghould be displayed at dev_disp, Check this link, here you can find all info related to SAP Gateway

The dispatcher always starts fine.
But when I check the ports of the server,
I see that the machine is not listening
on TCP port 3300, the sapgw00 TCP port listed
in the Windows services file.
