Changing system type in USMM not possible

Dear experts,

after a system copy I would like to change system type in USMM from Production to Test. When I access USMM system type options are greyed out. Already tried authorization trace because I assumed an authorization issue but trace looks ok. Further I can change system type in the origin system, which has been copied.

any ideas?

Hello Chris,

Please note that you also should maintain the change in your client administration. The transaction for this change is SCC4.

There you can get the list of all clients. Please double click the client you want to change and select the right type. If you changed all productive clients of the system, you can change the system type with transaction USMM to DEV or TEST.

Hi Blanca,

I was not aware that client role in SCC4 and system type in USMM depend on each other.
