Resource Not Found error on uPerform Server config

Former Member

Hi All,

We have recently installed SPP4.30. We opted for 2 tier architecture. We installed Search Server and uPerform server in one box, DB is in another box. After installation when I accessed Vignette Collaboration server using URL http://<server>:8080 and clicked the login icon I got the message "The requested resource (/gm/mypage) is not available" . Clement Lau also faced the same issue as mentioned in his thread "404 Resource Not Found error on uPerform Server config ().

I tried to troubleshoot this issue by following the below steps as suggested by Matthew Stapleton

a> Stop Vignette Collaboration service.

b> Common Apache Solr-solr service.

C> Start Common Apache Solr-solr service.

d> Start Vignette Collaboration service.

e> Restart RWD uPerform Monitoring service.

But it did not resolve this issue, as suggested by Clement Lau I have granted the group EVERYONE up to modify access on the Vignette/Collaboration folder. It also did not help in resolving the issue.

Though there is no error entry in the "CollabConsole" txt file.

Kindly suggest how to troubleshoot this error.

Thanks a lot,

Tapan

why login to vignette?

normally you should logon to port 80 if by default uperform is installed.

Hi Tapan,

I think I have replied to your message

For the benefit of the forum I'll give my response.

Is there a script provided during the installation you execute manully

DBUpgradeSQL.bat from :\RWDuPerform\Collaboration\DBSetup, So run it

again try to access the link

http://<uPerformServerName>:8080 .

If issue still there please try to

check with your network team whether assign a hostname to the ip address

of the server.

The following configuration files need to be updated with the new domain

name or IP address accordingly if needed

Howevwer before you do this you can check the following settings and see

if either a domain name or just IP address is maintained

The following configuration files need to be updated with the new domain

name or IP address

<InstallPath>/Collaboration/conf/startup.props

<InstallPath>/Collaboration/collab.props

<InstallPath>/Collaboration/WWW/Python/web.config

<InstallPath>/Collaboration/WWW/script/common.js

<InstallPath>/Collaboration/WWW/uPerformWS/RWD.uPerform.ServerConf

iguration.DLL.Config

<InstallPath>/Collaboration/jkconnect/conf/workers.properties

regards,

Matthew
