Copy control cumulative batch with goods receipt costing

We are trying to do a copy control using the cumulative batch 'G' but the cost, VPRS, is coming from the material master and we would like it to come from the purchase are that that the item is tied to. The item category is ZTAB which we have tied to a PO and are using ZTB2 as the batch split item. We want item category ZTAB to cumulate the batches with a cost from the PO.

When you say sales order is tied to PO, is it third party process? Check OSS Note 1365939 - VPRS logic and Customizing settings in SD for how the VPRS logic works in third party scenario.
