QM In Retail - Inspection Type

Hi Experts,

I am currently working on Retail QM.

I need help in updating inspection setup details in article (material) master.

When I created the article master with MM41 it is not allowing to activate the QM setup details in QM view.

Later on I activated the inspection type using QA08 (Mass change..).

But it is showing only in the "display mode" even if I use the t code mm42.

Now I want to update some more details in QM inspection setup details like (I have to select "individual QM orderu201D tick box, inspection type 03 and 04). But I am unable to do the same.

(We cannot use MM02, as it gives error message "use retail functions to process the article")

Hi MANOJ

1. Using QA08 Transaction

2. On Mass Change of QM Inspection Setup Data in Materials screen, select Mass Processing in Tabulation Menu

3. Select Active Despite Insp. Stock (if Stock has accured) - Optional*

4. Select Create Change Documents - Optional*

5. Input value in Inspection Type field

6. Press Execute Button

7. On Parameter for Inspection Setup Data in Materials Screen you can change any detailed you need

8. Select Continue Icon or Enter

9. Back to Mass Change of QM Inspection Setup Data in Materials Screen

10. Select Material (thick or check)

11. Save

You can set default values for an Inspection type in SPRO and then try assigning the Insp Type to material master thru QA08.

Do not try to change the settings of Inspection Type in change material master txn.

Go to spro ........ Quality Management ................quality inspection ...............inspection lot creation........default value

here u can define values or also u can proceed by using qa08
