Sales return

Hi all,

i completed my sales return cycle by doing as per my requirement-

after sales return my stock is in Return stock,inspection type 06 activated in material.

Lot staus is REL CAL. as per best practice i did Defect recording and Result recording and found that sample is out of range.

while doing UD only Defect and charts Tab is showing.

my doubt is-

1. Why stock posting tab is not showing in that as inspection type 01.

2.is it the right process or step i did as above mention above?

3.if i did UD for that and Rejected stock is still in Returns stock.

Now as client requirement

4. that particular stock has to be send for Rework or scrap or second sale.

5. and after Rework again he wants do do RR and UD

6.so what additional inspection type apart that inspection type 06 i have add in material master.

How to Map step 4 to 6.

Hi,

06 inspection is used for return goods wherin you dont require stock posting to be done. You can only do result recording and defect recording of the defects for return goods.

Make use of 05 inspection type for return goods if your client requires stock posting like scrap , rework etc. and cost incurred for repair the product is needed to capture

Please follow the below procedure

1. Maintain Inspection Type 05 in Material master.

2. Don t Maintain any Inspection lot Origin in SPRO > QM > Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot creation > Inspection at shipping > Assign Inspection lot Origin to Delivery type.

3. Create Inspection Plan for Customer return with usage 5.

4. Then create return delivery with respect to sale order no or Document no.

5. Do PGI.

6. Now a lot will be generated with stock posting option.
