how to print amount in words as per the currency...

hi experts,

in a scenario i have to print the amount in words in a smartform but the problem is this that i am using HR_IN_CHG_INR_WRDS function module which changes the amount in INR....now the client wants that the amount should be printed in the currency it is maintained like if it is in USD it should be printed in dollar cents etc...similarly for all the currency they require the same.

kindly suggest how to deal with the same

It really wouldnt had been hard to search the forum and get to the FM SPELL_AMOUNT.

it wont be of much help.....i need to print in hundred thousand crores rupess paise in case of INR and likewise when it is USD similarly for all other currency

Hi Sahai,

I got the same to print line if the amount is Two thousand two hundred twenty two.If you need to print like this then you have to develop a custom fm. I did the same and using.

SPELL_AMOUNT has language as importing parameter and will create output based on the given language.
