ERROR In Sales order

Hi..

i created a customer in xd01( customer number 70002806) when i am trying to create a sales order under my comapany .in VA01

in ship to party field i enterd 70002806 its not taking .i am getting error" customer is not exist " but when i am trying to create in XD01 system giving a eror its already exist i dont konow where i am doing mistake please suggest me

There might be a mismatch between the sales area that you use to create the sales order and the sales area used to create the customer master. Make entries in t.code VOR1 and VOR2 for common distribution channel/division assignments to other divisions/distribution channel and then test again.

Please check the Partner Functions in the Customer Master if Ship-to Party (SH) is maintained.

Hi,

Check the sales area of the customer and the sales order also check the partner functions defined in customer master, may be the customer you have created doesnot have ship to party partner function in customer master.
