Trouble Settling and Closing a WBS

Hi,

I have a WBS with a balance (cost) in it from 09/2009. No further finanical postings to the WBS since then. Now the financial periods from 2009 are closed for posting.

Is there any way to close this WBS now?

At present if I try to close it, the system's message is "balance on WBS not = 0'. Trying to settle the WBS for a present period (09/2011) does not help.

Hi Pradeep,

Hope you must be getting a Warning message and not a Error message.

Though all the costs are settled still system gives a such kind of message. To esure every thing settled properly, try to re-run the settlement and in the log you will see the settlement costs details if still exists.

Then set the CLSD status and ignore the message if again pop ups and go ahead and set CLSD status.

We are also experiencing the same issue and doing same what has bescribed above. Hope this will work out for you.

You can settle previous cost of WBS in the current period using Settlement type FUL. You can also try reposting of cost for WBS using KB11N (Try searching the forum for this as there are other posts available on it).
