Change material description

Dear All,

Thanks for ur support. Kindly help me that I want to change the material description after using the material through MM02 but I am unable to do it. Can we chang it , if yes then how we can do.

Hi,

Please try using MASS transaction. Here are the steps.

Object type: BUS1001

Select table MAKT

Select field tab and select MAKT-MAKTX, execute

Enter your material and execute. Check whether you can edit the description.

Hello

There can be a possbililty that your material description in material master in maintain iin more than one language.

Try changing the material description in Addition Data (which you can view in menu bar) then Description Tab. And make changes as per you desire.
