GRC AC 5.3 Data Export Issue

Hi Experts,

Request all of you to help us on this issue.

We are doing test migration of existing GRC AC 5.3 data to GRC AC10. We have done GRC AC 10 Installation, patch upgradation, Plug-ins in Backend and GRC10 and all configurations described in Installation and Migration documents.

We are facing below issue while doing export of data-

1. When we run data export, we can't find custom fields which is suggested to be converted to Z namespace.We have created corresponding Z custom fields in GRC 10, but in export we can't find them.

2. We did a test data export with all possible selections. Now if we want to export the data again, we find the fields empty, nothing to select.

Is it that we can export data only once? It will create problem as it may not be correct data export first time.

Hi,

Please help us on this migration process.

We couldn't find the option "Export Custom Fields" which was suggested to be converted to z namespace and corresponding fields to be created in backend GRC10.

We have manually created the fields, and we are doing migration for the data available during export.

When we are in process of Initiators/CADs rules migration (Tcode - GRAC_WF_MIG) - error is coming -

Invalid Employee Type

Invalid Request Type

Invalid Company

We have manually maintained them in GRC10 SPRO, but stil lthis issue is coming.

Hello Sabita,

Can you please share how did you resolve the issue?   In migration, where exactly 5.3 custom fields get converted to 10.0 custom fields which starts with 'z' which we do it at the time of prerequisites.

Also I want to know about error which I get when running 'Import' option after selecting 'Get Files'

Hi Shailesh,

I couldn't complete the Migration activity. There are too many dependencies in Migration process, specially in workflow. Other GRC experts also advised to create fresh workflow instead of doing data migration. That is easier way.

EAM and ARA migration goes fine, but ARQ is delicate.

Other experts opinions are welcome.
