CJR2 Planning Error Message

Hi All,

Tried to search threads for this but not found.

While uploading Plan data through CJR2 transaction code - I facing following error message as -

"SER1 840000 cannot be planned (master data)"

Message no. GI522

I have checked and not found anything in Cost Element 840000

What I need to check - can you please suggest ??

Hi,

I think 840000 cost element may not be assigned with relevant cost element group which you have assigned in planning profile.

goto OPSB, check any cost element group is assigned in field "Prim.CElem.grp" if yes then to check 840000 cost element is available or not in that group for that enter KAH3 transaction & enter relevant group and click on hierarchy buttuon, now you can check. if 840000 cost element is not in the group then it needs to be added.

then try CJR2.

or as mentioned by kishore, that might be the reason.

Hi

Please check the costelement category. We can't use secondary costelements ex:cat 43 for planning cost through CJR2, as secondary cost elements cost are to be planned through activity type/workcenter/costcenter.

I think the cost element you are using might be secondary thats why system is showing error, please change it to primary cost element with cat 1.
