hi,
Recently I have upgraded database to Oracle 11.2.0.2. However, the Long raw datatype is not yet converted to CLOB/Secure Files. Is there any time limit long raw to be converted? Is there any plans by Oracle / SAP to discontinue this datatype?
Thanks,
RajS
Hi,
SAP still support LONG RAW for old installations. All new installation now uses LOBs.
read SAP note 646681 to learn how to convert... and give you the ability for online reorgs.

Hi Raj,
I didn't hear that Oracle discontinue to "Long Raw" type, but you should convert these fields to be able to reorganize the table which contains LONG RAW field.
