Quality Lot creation against

Hi,

I need to create an inspection lot against GR w.r.t Reservation.

Is that possible and what would be the appropriate inspection type in that case.

It depends upon the mvt type you are using for reservation.

Say you are creating the Reservation with 261 mvt then you can get the 02 inspection type lot once you post the reservation.

I am trying to feasibility of the below process:

Goods issue needs to happen against Reservation 261. MB21

While Goods issue the Shop floor person needs to return the defective part to store.

Store will update the receipt using MIGO against reservation.

Since the part that is returned to the stores is damaged, the GR needs to be under quality inspection.

Maintenance will take the necessary corrective measures and move the qty to unrestricted.

My only CONCERN is will G.R against reservation create a quality lot. What kind of inspection type needs to be used for GR against Reservation?

Yes....before activate 02 inspection type & check Inspection lot with 02 Inspection will be created after migo

02 is Goods issue inspection.

I want inspection against Goods Receipt (but w.r.t Reservation), will 02 Inspection type be fine in that case.

MIGO is window for all.

Look at the mvt that you are using its 261-->GI for order.

You can do it through T code MB1A instead of MIGO.

Hi,

When you do Reversal for 261 done ie., 262....

It comes under other Goods Receipt Inspection....

So Activate 05 Inspection Type in the material master and do GR agaianst Reservation...It will create an Inspection lot which will meet your requirement..

Hello Amlan,

The goods receipt you are refereeing here is against purchase order or against production order. Have you tried assigning inspection types 01, 04 to the material in QM view?

Goods receipt needs to happen against reservation.

MIGO is having that provision.
