ASAP?

Dear all,

I may be completely out of date and not aware of important developments, BUT my question is: "What happened to ASAP?"

The latest information I possess stems from 1999. I did search The Net and especially the SAP and SDN pages but did not get a result that would have pointed me to more current versions. Does anybody know where to get the desired information?

Hello Simon,

Near as I can tell, it was absorbed into what is now called the "SAP Consulting Project Management Methodology". This was developed early in 2004 by the SAP Global Consulting organization. To quote an item I read on it, "The SAPC PMM supplements ASAP with new Project Management processes and Content. An important note in the same article I read indicates that this is internal to SAP, unlike the old standard ASAP program. This would explain why you aren't finding any material on ASAP in the public internet areas. I would recommend contacting a member of the SAP GCO via your nearest SAP office for additional information.
