Hi ,

If we do any changes in the SCAL table in R/3 , How this changes would reflect in APO SCAL transaction , and based on these changes how will be the time stream which are associated with these calendar will be update .

Can anyone from Forum brief me how the process works regarding the Calendar in R/3 as well as APO , if any changes needs to be carried out in calendar how to do in R/3 as well as APO so that your time stream will update automatically without any manual intervention .

Hi Sesh

When you make a change in calendars in R/3 in transaction SCAL it is not automatically replicated in APO. You can either manually replicate them in SCAL in APO or, better still, use report RSIMPCUST to transfer calendars to APO. For this to work R/3 must be defined as a source system in APO (using transaction RSA1).

If you have defined time stream calendars based on factory calendars you typally regenerate them manually in transaction /SAPAPO/CALENDAR. Refer to OSS Notes 1130778, 1245264 for a program to automatically create new

planning periods.
