Hello,
I have created a change request via SOLUTION_MANAGER t-code.
While creating the request, I can specify Change Manager.
But is there any way to specify Developer to a change request?
Or if in a landscape if there are lot of developers, can any developer go and change the status of change Request?
Is there a way to specify Developer(s) for a change request?
Does Solution Manager identify developers based on the roles assigned to logon id?
Regards,
Vikas
Hi,
please understand the process flow of charm.
When Change request created it will go to changemanager for validation, He/She creates the Normal change, or Urgent change document, and set the prio based on criticallity . Next it flows to the approval procedure.
Once he releasd the Change request for development , NC or UC get released to developemnt with the assignemt of particular developer by the change manager
So you can assign developer only on NC/UC change documents.
Thanks,
Jansi

Hello,
A request in CHARM does not select a particular developer
when a SDHF (urgent correction) or SDMJ
(Normal correction) is created.
The developers will go to check the work that there is in a queue,
unless another person, change manager for example, enters in SDHF or
in SDMJ and select current processor >developer
Then the developer put the correction in "In development"
Two transport orders are created, one for Customizing and other for
workbench.
These transport orders belongs to the developer, each subtask can
belong to different users.

Hi Vikas,
there is noch explicit menu path to enter the current processor. The Change Manager opens the change request (SDHF/ SDMJ) via the ChaRM-Workcenter or transaction codes CRMD_ORDER or CRM_DNO_MONITOR. On the lower left side of the document (field: processor) he has to enter the business partner-number of the developer.

Martin
