Action item ‘Set to Development’ missing for Developer

Hello,

I have created a change request via SOLUTION_MANAGER t-code.

While creating the request, I specified the CHANGE Manager.

Later Change Manager logs and approves the change request.

Now when Developer logs in there is nothing in the Action menu.

Developer has the role SAP_CM_DEVELOPER_COMP assigned to him.

Now what could be the reason that Action Item for Developer does not have any entry?

What can be done to enable the Action Item for Developer.

Hi Vikas,

the action item for the developer would be in the change doucment (i.e. normal change SDMI/J or urgent change SDHF) not the actual change request (SDCR).

Example: A change request is created and is at status "To be approved", change manager then approves the change. Upon approval if configuration is setup correctly a change document normal or urgent change is generated and attached to the change request.

The developer does all his activities in this transaction not the change request. If you still see no actions in the list it sounds like missing configuration. Can you provide more detail?
