Configuring service orders

Hi

Just want to know do we configure service order( created from IW32) in vov8 or somewhere else. And is the pricing procedure determination same as sales orders or different?

Hello

I hope you are asking about Service Order from customer service.

These are also known as service order notification.

Its config is done in under PM / CS node of SPRO.

From service order notification, you can create service orders.

And those service order config with relevent Item cat are configured in under Sales node of SPRO.

I hope this suffice your requirement.

thanks JP. But in service order type configuration I can't find document pricing procedure. Without this can we determine Pricing procedure for this. Can you please through some light on pricing concept in service orders.

I hope you are looking in maintenance order type - service order by using TCode OIOA.

Use Tcode OIOL. There you assign maintenance order type - service order with Sales doc type (desired & as demand by business process).

By using Tcode OIOL, where you assign maintenance order type - service order with Sales doc type (desired & as demand by business process).

The sales doc you are assigning there will have pricing.

So, do pricing determination for that sales order. Keep in mind that item cat determined in sale order should be relevant for pricing.

FYI - Pricing will not take place at maintenance order type - service order.
